They Truly are Interrelated

Fitness Pilates happens because of the belief that Pilates had that the mental and physical are interrelated. Even as buff as you are or as toned as your body is, you can still have a long way to go with health if you’re not healthy mentally as well. What started with dancers and soldiers that time became something more when people discovered the benefits of body Pilates. The Pilates core is basically seen as the mind having a good control over the body. This was termed before as contrology.

Watch the video here. If you are looking to start your fitness program and are not sure what big-ticket equipment you need, the video on this page answers all of your questions. It will make total sense to you. Marjolein is absolutely stunning at 53. In place of running, which can lead to injuries, especially as you age, this is what she uses instead.

No Impact, No Stress Exercise

With Pilates Winsor, the exercise routine has been further improved and is accessible to people the world over. Advanced Pilates is being practiced by the young, the old, the pregnant, the injured the overweight and even the perfectly healthy. They’re all in the process of getting to a state of complete balance mentally and physically. You might be worried that if you start doing Pilates advanced that you have to exert all the effort with doing the routines. On the contrary, you have a no impact and no stress kind of exercise. The basic premise of the whole routine is that you do it with precision. The benefit not only comes from weight or repetition.

Health and Balance

With many exercise regimens, it’s only the body that they focus on. With the Pilates workout, you’ll have the ability to get on the path of health that isn’t only physical but also mental. Bulk and muscle isn’t always the goal, sometimes simple health and balance is what people want and they found it when they started doing the Pilates exercises. Aside from getting the full benefit of being healthy physically, they also have wellness mentally. It’s with exercising the mind for power to control the body.

Click here for an impressive collection of Pilates DVDs. Personally, I am a Mari Winsor fan over Suzanne Deason (she comes off a little to dry and clinical). They have kits which sell cheaper than if you were to pick up single DVDs. Since pilates classes are getting harder to find nowadays, DVDs are a great option. Check them out.

Pilates for Men? You Bet!

It’s not only the women of the world’s population who find this type of exercise a great exercise. There is also Pilates for men. Again, the goal here is not to bulk up. The goal is to be healthy overall. When you’ve been doing the routines that need repetition and weights, you find that it’s with focusing on precision that you get the most benefit.

:-)
