I have already experienced meditation and contemplation for more than 10 years and its so good and makes you strong in mind and peaceful heart. You feel jorneying to perfection.
I do a little bit of meditation each day in my yoga class. I always leave feeling like I have zero stress and much more energy to face the day.
While meditation can bring your soul to a new level of consciousness, there’s no intense preparation needed for you to be able to learn how to meditate properly. Make sure you have eaten and hydrated before you meditate. But do not eat heavy meals such as rice and pasta. If you’re a beginner, this may make you drowsy or sleepy during meditation. If you want to eat, consume light meals mostly fruits and organic foods. Always wear comfortable loose clothing. You don’t want to be dripping wet as you try to clear your thoughts. Being comfortable is the key to success in being able to clear your mind. As much as possible you don’t want any distraction as you meditate. In the long run, you will find yourself enjoying the benefits of learning how to meditate properly.
